The Macaroni Challange

Using a simple box of store bought macaroni & cheese only adding 2 extra ingredients create a recipe that can feed a family of 4. The two extra ingredients should not cost more than five US dollars.
The winner who submits the winning recipe will receive a $50. Growingcooks.com Gift Certificate. This Halloween bake the most decadent chocolate cupcakes ever then crumble chocolate cookie crumbs on top and stick a gummy worm coming up the center of the cupcake for a scary treat! See my decadent chocolate cupcake recipe below:

Decadent Chocolate Cupcakes

6 tbsp butter, softened, or soft margarine,
1/2 cup superfine sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 2/3 cups self rising flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

Icing
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 oz semisweet chocolate, melted- add more if desired

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F/ 200 degreesC. Line muffin pan with approx. 16 - 18 cupcake liners.
Place the butter and sugar in a large bowl and beat together until light and fluffy, then slowly beat in eggs. Add the milk, then fold in the chocolate chips. Sift in the flour and cocoa, then fold into the batter. Spoon the batter into the paper cups and smooth.
Bake int the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until ready. Cool before frosting.
To make frosting place the butter in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Sift in the confectioners' sugar and beat until smooth. Stir in the melted chocolate and beat until mixed.
